Are you ready to discover greater health, happiness, well-being and growth in your life? Qigong, a therapeutic series of flowing and meditative movements from ancient China, offers us this opportunity to take care of ourselves and uplift our lives. Now, you too can learn this simple, profound practice!

In this three-week series, we will work together to learn Tian Yuan, the first method of the nine-method Yuan Gong system. Yuan Gong, developed by Ren Xue founder Yuan Tze, synthesizes traditional Qigong forms into an enlivening, effective, and safe practice suited to modern practitioners. The first form, Tian Yuan, focuses on unblocking joints and other points of stagnancy, enhancing Qi flow through the body, and gathering and purifying Qi from the universe. Tian Yuan also supports mental clarity, agency, and the cultivation of self-awareness and positive qualities such as trust, calmness, naturalness and ease.

Easy to learn and simple to practice, this series is designed to gain an in-depth understanding of Tian Yuan, with an eye toward empowering students to utilize Tian Yuan in their daily lives. It will also touch on Ren Xue theory, discussing the nature of Qi and the relationship of Qi and the consciousness. The narrow focus will allow us to be thorough in our learning and provide ample time for experience via practice. This class also provides the foundation for further learning with the instructor in more advanced Yuan Gong forms.
