About Gabe Crane
Facilitator, mediator, counselor; teacher, healer, guide. A graduate of the East-West Psychology masters program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, Gabriel Sodetani Crane is a Berkeley, CA native known by his clients to be empathetic, sincere, intuitive, and holding of a “deep nuanced understanding of group dynamics.”
Gabe is a qualified, six-level Ren Xue Teacher and Yuan Ming Medicine Therapist, drawing on Eastern spiritual traditions and psychosomatic mindfulness to bring a holistic and energetically sensitive foundation to his services. A certified mediator and facilitator for the SEEDS Community Resolution Center in Berkeley, CA, Gabe has also received extensive training at Arnold Mindell’s Process Work Institute in Portland, OR. Gabe’s awareness-based, process-oriented approach incorporates systems theory, organizational and positive psychology, martial arts, restorative justice, and spiritual traditions to deliver uniquely effective and well-grounded support to his clients. In the past, he has worked as a wilderness trail guide in Minnesota and Canada, and for a healing retreat center in Peru. He received his BA with honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
I work at a range of rates depending on the services provided. I also aim to make my services accessible to those in need, regardless of their income level, and as such I do reserve a small number of spaces in my schedule for sliding scale clients. 1-on-1 Integrative Counseling, Mediation Services: $150/hr
Conflict Management, Professional Facilitation, Leadership Coaching, and Trainings: $350/hr
